Memorial Rose Garden.
“Following a big clean up of a neglected area by John Rayner in the vicinity of local artist Graham Ross’s Allotment Plot. On the Walton Road Site. Graham approached the committee with a view to make a memorial rose garden to commemorate all those who dug for victory in both the Great and Second World Wars, this being particularly apt because our Association was formed and became registered as a Provident Society in 1919, so many of the returning servicemen would have been using the plots that we now enjoy. Graham and Kanika have put a lot of work into this project, and they hope it will be enjoyed by the membership as a quiet area for contemplation.”

" Dedicated To Those Who Dug For Victory"
My locally manufactured growing house.
Hi my name is David Woodhouse and I have an allotment plot on the Walton Road Site. Several people have asked me where I got my Protected Growing House from. I had the frame made at Oxborrow Engineering at Kirby. I gave him a sketch of my requirements including the size and shape of the structure I required, and I was quoted a price which included delivery. ( a fraction of the price of similar structures found on Gardening websites). The top and sides are made from 30mm galvanized tubing plus 25mm x 25mm square galvanized steel. The structure measures 2m wide x 4m long. If you would like more information email me David Woodhouse
